Bio:

Cage Greenleaf was orphaned as a small child and raised in the care of a temple of Melora. His adopted father was a shaman that taught Cage all about nature’s mysteries and the spirits that exist all around him. As the only halfling in a village of Elves, Cage grew up with a bit of a chip on his shoulder, always struggling to prove that he could pull his own weight. His small size and short life span always led people to treat him differently than everyone else, and Cage struggled to find his way in life.

As is a common tradition among Melora’s followers, when Cage approached manhood he was expected to make a pilgrimage into the wilderness to discover what Melora had planned for him. Cage lived as any other denizen of the wilds for several weeks, accepting the inherent good and evil in the basic quest for survival. On the 40th day of his pilgrimage Cage came upon a clear pool of water laying underneath a waterfall. Sleeping peacefully on a large boulder at the edge of the pool was a small kit fox. It’s head lifted in Cage’s direction upon hearing him approach, and Cage heard a soft voice on the wind bidding him welcome. The fox introduced herself as a servant of Melora and told Cage that she had much to teach him.

Four months later Cage emerged from the wilderness with a purpose. He returned to the temple and presented himself as a new servant of Melora, trained in the art of the Avenger by the messengers of the Nature Goddess. Like a fox in the wild, he could now move unnoticed through any terrain. He could track his prey relentlessly for days at a time. And like a fox, when he did finally strike, it was brutal and merciless and there was no escape.

Since then Cage has hunted all things unnatural. He has specialized in infiltrating sources of undead activity and eliminating them. He finds the undead in any form to be abominations and he works tirelessly to remove them from his natural world.

When in combat, Cage wears an ornate kitsune mask as a symbol of his role in the natural order of things and out of respect for his spirit guide.
